Next week we will be learning about myths and legends. The myths and legends of Ancient Greece were dominated by tales of heroes, gods and monsters.
For this homework you will be looking at the monsters of myth and legend. I would like you to create your own monster. Draw a picture of it and label your picture to tell me what each part does. Then write a paragraph telling me about your monster. Tell me about where it lives, what it does, how it behaves and what it has done to the heroes that have come across it.
If you’re having trouble creating your monster, try the old Greek myth trick… simply take the head of one animal and combine it with the body of another. You can always add wings and a tail.
My monster is called evil Lord .he is skayly and huge.

My monster is called the Shilon.He lives in very deep sea. He is half dragon and half sea monster.He is as long as 50 houses.He has more than 10,000 yellow scales. My animal has yellow scales so he can camouflage in the sand when he is trying to catch fishes and sharks and if you swim past it you will turn into dust .

DeleteMy ancient Greek monster is called The Scary Guy. She is a monster with a snake red body and blue spikes all around. She has a duck orange head and dark, short, black hair. The Scary Guy lives in a big cave with an iron, black gate which only opens when her mistress opens it manly when evil come to kill. The Scary guy whacks people with its hairy tail, pricks people with its sharp prickles and points that shove people roughly. My monsters behaves absolutely horridly he eats, injures and scare people to their death. The Scary Guy has been very spiteful to the people who have come across it or been mean about their master’s beauty. She has bullied meanly to them. My monsters mistress is Siley and her three daughters Lola, Megan, Molly and Grace.

He eats humans but before he eats them he takes their blood off so he can make his drink. He lives in a Island with lots of other monsters. He is always hungry because he only ate one human for his live.

ReplyDeleteMy monster is called The Three Headed Chomper. My monster is as tall as a double ducker bus and as wide as 10 trains. Each head has its own personality and you can tell which head is older by the scales. The one who has his scales shaved off is the oldest and the teenager head has his scales curved and the youngest head has his scales pointy this is because the youngest head needs more defense. He lives in a cave and he thrives on fish and flesh. If the hero approached him he would breath acid or swing his wrecking ball.
ReplyDeletemy monster is called basher smasher. he lives in a dark cave on a high mountain. he has a terrifying axe. he has 2 horns and can breath under water and swim he eats mountain climbers and humans although he likes to eat fresh fruit if he can't find humans . he likes his surroundings dark so he hunts at night it is very rare to see him hunting in day light. his hair is as green as a green leaf.

DeleteMy monster is called super dash he is really fast.He lives on a race track. He has muscles like a rhino.He eats super fresh fruit and washed. He has 2 big gold blades everybody tried getting his 2 blades but they died. He sleeps in the day and goes racing and and fighting at the same time.Only like 7 or 8 people see him at midnight. if humans look at him they are turned into wood.No humans looked at him ever again.He looks for fruits at night time.
ReplyDeleteMy monster's name is Madusa and if you look at her she eats you in one bite.My monster is very harsh and she lives in the woods,caves and sea.My monster behaves as if she does not like being in her habitat.She hates people and and she always eats squid or people.She always looks for squid in the sea and she sleeps in the night.
