This week we have been learning about
stories of mystery and suspense. Your task is to write a description
of this spooky setting. Remember to use lots of interesting adjectives and at
least one simile.

This spooky house might be a haunted house. Some sort of which might live there.I wonder if their would be some bat's in their,I've never been in such a spooky,scary,dark house. their may be some ghosts inside the spooky,creepy house. This house is as creepy as a spooky night!!!!!!!!!! by Marco

For hallween night. The scene is set in a spooky area . The weather is as stormy as a Friday the 13th night in winter. The night is as dark as a black cats fur.it's as spooky as it can be.

I think that this house is a haunted house and a goblin lives there! Outside a strong gale blew a howling scream!As I walked I saw a shadow! The End.....

ReplyDeleteThe house is dark and spooky I bet there is a wicked obnoxious witch living inside the house with a whole library of spells. It’s very cold and stormy because the witch has just made a bad spell so it started to go all scary. I can hear the crackling of the witch inside and booms of thunder followed by crackle of lighting. I can smell the burning of something being burnt by the lighting which makes it smell of smoke and I cough a lot. I can taste the watery spit that’s dribbling it out of my mouth because I’m scared of what will happen to me. In front of me there are black slippery steps and wet banisters and a dark black door with two petrifying metal animals. This house is spookier than a lions teeth it’s also as scary as a crocodile. I’ve loved every one of your comments they are extremely descriptive.
ReplyDeleteThe house is a mysterious, menacing mansion. Inside the mansion, it is pitch black and a petrifying poltergeist resides in it. Nobody dares to walk past the mansion's gates and if they do, then they wouldn't make it back!
ReplyDeleteThis house is haunted and it looks terrifying because there are stone devils standing on the gates. They make me think there are monsters living here, they wake up after sunset and sleep during day. Legend says “the house is alive once a year”. Creepy noises and whiney voices which are very loud you can hear them from either a short distance or a far distance. I think there is a Dracula on the top floor having a nap. The night sky matches the house perfectly because they are both spooky. The lightning makes it even spookier. Some of the windows are broken by bats flying through the windows. The top window has a light but the others are dark.

This is a haunted house. A creepy,scary man must be living there in this haunted house He might scare us in the night.It is a stormy night.It could be the church hall of The Mystery of the Lantern Light.There are two ghost statues standing by the broken front gates.The creepy man might be reading a spell book for his next plot
